Gary Kohrt Named VP of Marketing and Product Marketing

30 Year Veteran to Drive the Next Wave of Visualization Solutions for ICONICS
 

Foxborough, MA — November 9, 2010 — ICONICS, a Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner of the Year and provider of Web-enabled, industrial visualization software for Microsoft Windows operating systems, announced that Gary Kohrt has joined ICONICS as Vice President of Marketing and Product Marketing. In this new role Gary will be responsible for worldwide marketing efforts to increase the ICONICS visibility and brand recognition.

Mr. Kohrt brings over 30 years of industry experience to ICONICS. Gary started his career with Johnson Controls creating Distributed Controls Systems products for the Water and Wastewater industry. Gary was also the Director of Engineering for Johnson Controls in Milwaukee, WI where he architected and managed the development of the Metasys product family, an extremely successful Building Automation product line. In 2000, Gary was appointed Vice President of Engineering for the Cardkey Security division of Johnson Controls, providing Card Access and Video Surveillance solutions. Recently, Gary worked for United Technologies as the Director of Product Management and Marketing helping define business strategy and new products for the Video Surveillance and Card Access business. Gary holds an MBA in Strategic Planning from the University of Dallas and a BSEE in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Gary will lead all product marketing and global marketing for the ICONICS real-time 64-Bit HMI/SCADA and Manufacturing Intelligence products. He will also work closely with the ICONICS industry business development teams for water, building automation, renewable energy and manufacturing.
