Regional Sales Managers

Regional Sales Managers (RSM) will be responsible for direct sales primarily through ICONICS sales channels and market development for ICONICS’ software. The RSM will develop a network of distributor and/or representative sales channels as well as system-integrators. The RSM will work with ICONICS HQ to develop business and marketing plans for sales of the ICONICS HMI, SCADA, Visualization and Manufacturing Intelligence products. The RSM will be responsible for preparing and delivering sales presentations, attending trade shows and seminars, and empowering ICONICS sales channels through training and team selling
Further responsibilities include forecasting revenue within the region, utilizing the ICONICS ChannelWorX forecasting system, assisting in the preparation of quotations and requests for proposals, obtaining revenue objectives, developing corporate accounts and optimizing ICONICS operations within the Region. The RSM is to develop brand preference within major corporate accounts, systems integration, engineering and consulting firms. This individual will report to the Director of North American Sales, Dallas, TX. The position is based in the field, preferably in a major metropolitan area.
Candidate Requirements
- Candidates must have a strong competency in Industrial Automation applications.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably in engineering, software or information technology. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to draft customer proposals, contracts, business correspondence, PowerPoint presentations and clear messaging to and through sales channels are a must.
- Preferred candidates should have a minimum of 7 years experience selling software products with demonstrated success of solution selling at senior levels of business unit management and information technology departments. A background in continuous improvement methodologies such as “Lean Manufacturing” or “Six Sigma” is desired, as is experience with industrial communications technologies, software for Business Intelligence (BI), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), or Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Requires 50% travel to customers and prospects within the Region, plus 2 to 4 trips per year to ICONICS offices outside of the Region, including ICONICS’ Headquarters in USA. Initial training period will require up to 6 weeks out of the Region.
This position includes a company car or car allowance.
Strategic Sales Managers

The Strategic Sales Manager will be a visionary leader who can provide both the strategic vision and the tactical direction for the business development strategies of our new products and our Strategic OEM accounts. This position reports to the VP of Worldwide Sales. We are seeking a passionate, experienced and proven leader who can maximize our revenue stream. The successful candidate will be a high impact player with demonstrated success building high value product lines. Technically savvy and able to understand new market areas quickly, the person we seek is passionate and energetic with a strong work ethic and a polished, professional presence.
The primary goal of this position is to increase our Strategic OEM Account revenues by 40-50% per year for the next three years.
Candidate Requirements
- BS in Computer Science (or related field). Advanced degree in marketing or product management preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Industrial Automation, visualization software, HMI, SCADA, process control, MES software and ERP.
- Proven track record in building sales and revenues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven success in driving sales and bottom line.
Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience in food, pharmaceutical, beverage, petrochemical, automotive, HVAC, or machinery markets.
Technical Writers
As a Technical Writer with a passion for creativity and excellence, you will be part of a growing team at an innovative and fast-paced software company. You will create and maintain comprehensive help documentation for all of the company’s industrial-automation and manufacturing-intelligence software products and modules as well as write, edit, and format printed documentation for publication, including help manuals and training manuals for each software release version. You will work closely with an international team of software development engineers to document all graphical user interface components for all software applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, English, or Computer Science
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to express complex technical concepts visually using diagrams and other graphical formats
- Experience with applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop, and multimedia and/or desktop publishing tools
Software Development Engineers
We are seeking experienced individuals who enjoy creating ground breaking software designs and architectures; enjoy product research as required to specify and develop our products and look forward to becoming a leading technical resource on computer engineering technology. In addition, you will provide technical expertise to ICONICS’ Applications Engineers, QA Engineers and customers.

Quality Assurance Engineers
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will execute test strategies to support rapid product development in the testing of real-time automation software that interfaces operator workstations to industrial equipment. As part of our QA team, you will work on product initiatives from business requirements through implementation, developing test plans and test designs, including test execution and test verification via both manual and automated processes

Accountant
Seeking a self-starting and creative Accountant. This is a key position in the company’s accounting department. Responsibilities will include maintaining the general ledger and all closing documents for the company’s foreign subsidiaries, calculating the foreign exchange impact of the foreign operations and maintaining all intercompany reconciliations. In addition, responsibilities will include participating in the US Accounting functions such as A/P and A/R, as well as in the U.S. closing process. The individual will possess a BS in Accounting and have some prior accounting experience through either a part-time position or an internship. Knowledge of PC based accounting systems is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel is required.
Budget Analyst
Seeking a self-starting and creative Budget Analyst. This is a key position in the company’s budgeting department. Responsibilities will include analyzing product/volume/mix of the company’s product offerings, reviewing expense reports and comparing them to budget, preparing time and cost analyses for the company’s R&D department, developing management reports via Excel, Access, FrX and ReportWorX, and working extensively with the company’s accounting and CRM systems. Customer Service Representative
Seeking a self-starting and creative business oriented individual. Responsibilities will include learning the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and the company’s sales policies & procedures, handling customer calls and questions regarding order entry, software licensing and service agreements for our U.S. and International locations, assisting in the roll-out of the company’s web ordering system to worldwide sales channels and customers. The individual will possess a B.S. in Business Administration or MIS and have some prior customer service experience. Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with customers, knowledge of PC-based accounting and/or CRM systems is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel and Word is required.
