The ICONICS 2005 Worldwide Customer Summit was an amazing success! Thank you to all who attended.
The summit provided it's attendees with valuable insight on increasing manufacturing and automation productivity with .NET technology.
The Summit focussed on solutions designed to improve productivity while reducing integration
and operating costs. Summit attendees gained extensive knowledge in bridging real-time
manufacturing systems to business enterprise systems, and witnessed real-world examples of the
latest technology for OPC, HMI/SCADA and Manufacturing Intelligence. Breakout sessions
showcased GENESIS32™ V8, BizViz™ Manufacturing Intelligence, Microsoft .NET, the
latest OPC technology, and much more.
Attendees were taught how they could lower their engineering cost by applying standard off-the-shelf,
OPC-To-The-Core™ solutions. They were also given the the oppurtunity to meet and interact with
industry experts on implementing real-time software solutions for today's industrial automation
environment. The Partner Pavilion gave attendees a chance to meet key ICONICS partners that can add tremendous
value to their automation needs.
At the Worldwide Customer Summit ICONICS showcased new product innovations and provided a
roadmap illustrating how to take maximum advantage of Microsoft technology in manufacturing.
Conference attendees learned solutions on how to significantly improve overall productivity,
while reducing integration and operating costs.
The oppurtunity was provided to learn from ICONICS' technical experts about the latest HMI/SCADA Visualization and
Manufacturing Intelligence technologies and how to efficiently apply them to today's automation
needs. Attendees were also able to meet and collaborate with users at breakout sessions designed to demonstrate solutions
that can reduce operating costs and maximize your bottom line.

Who Should Have Attended?
ICONICS GENESIS32 and BizViz Customers, System Integrators, Sales Channel and OEM Partners
were invited. This included Plant Engineers, Managers, Automation Directors, and IT
Managers specializing in industrial automation and manufacturing. System Integrators
and Partners were able to gain valuable insight and earn points towards ICONICS' Certification programs.

ICONICS partners add tremendous value to your automation needs. The Partner Pavilion gave
attendees a chance to visit with key ICONICS partners that sponsored this summit. Sponsors

Woodhead Software & Electronics.
Summit General Sessions
Sessions gave valuable insight and industry direction from distinguished automation experts and ICONICS'
senior management and engineering teams. Attendees were able to learn about real-time Web-enabled manufacturing,
Portals, Wireless Automation, OPC technology, Manufacturing Intelligence and the next-generation
HMI/SCADA. Examples of how partners and users have applied ICONICS solutions to address specific
automation requirements were also demonstrated.
OPC HMI/SCADA Breakout Sessions
These sessions taught how to maximize HMI/SCADA visualization projects and how to apply the latest technology
to new and existing automation systems. These sessions focussed on the latest GENESIS32 V8
technology and included valuable information on real-time data mining and visualization of
databases, wireless, multimedia, security considerations in automation. Sessions also included the latest
on OPC Data Access 3.0, OPC XML, OPC historical data, OPC alarms and analysis. Attendees were taught how
to deploy Web-based applications and how to select and apply hardware fault tolerance
and software redundancy.
Manufacturing Intelligence Breakout Sessions
ICONICS held demonstrations on how to apply out-of-the-box solutions to tackle today's industrial automation
and business integration needs. Attendees were taught how to develop their own reporting, portal and
data-bridging applications and how the BizViz Suite for Manufacturing Intelligence is used to
create personal and customized portals and dashboards. In addition, they were taught to integrate flexible
reporting, data-bridging, mobile, wireless, and multimedia connectivity.
Application and Solutions Breakout Sessions
ICONICS products were shown in action during these application and solutions breakout sessions. Each
breakout session wass structured to show attendees how to design a real-life solution. These sessions
were a great way to see how all ICONICS software applications are truly integrated with each
other.
