Automation software works with Windows Server 2008

ICONICS is among the first companies worldwide to earn the Certified for Windows Server 2008 software logo for its automation software

GraphWorX64, a core component of the ICONICS GENESIS64 suite, is the first industrial automation solution to earn certification for Windows Server 2008. ICONICS had previously earned the 'Certified for Windows Vista' designation, making it one of the first companies worldwide to receive both certifications.

GENESIS64 allows users across the enterprise to integrate real-time manufacturing and business information into a common, OPC-UA-compliant, web-enabled visualisation dashboard

GraphWorX64 is a fully compliant OPC client featuring ActiveX and OLE Automation technologies to help create dazzling animated graphics for process control.

Windows Server 2008 software certification comprises approximately 100 test cases that independently confirm an application's compliance with best practices for compatibility, security, reliability, and availability on the new platform.

The certification identifies top-performing technologies that are ready to deploy in mission-critical environments.

As a participant in the Microsoft Early Access Programme (EAP) for Windows Server 2008 Software Certification, ICONICS' GraphWorX64 is one of more than 300 applications that are eligible for certification on a prerelease version of the new platform.
