ICONICS and JCI Automotive to Speak at ARC Advisory Group Forum
Achieving Global Operational Performance through Manufacturing Intelligence
Foxborough, MA, USA - June 2, 2006 - ICONICS celebrating 20 years of providing Web-enabled, OPC-based, HMI/SCADA Visualization and Manufacturing Intelligence software for Microsoft Windows operating systems, today announced they will be joined by Johnson Controls (JCI) Automotive for a speaking engagement at ARC Advisory Group's Boston Forum from June 26-28, 2006. Russ Agrusa , Founder and CEO of ICONICS will be joined by Kevin Hooks, Senior Project Manager IT Systems at JCI Automotive as they discuss “Achieving Global Operational Performance through Manufacturing Intelligence”.
The presentation will focus on how automotive industry suppliers are undergoing significant challenges while facing increasing global competition, slowing growth and shrinking margins. Russell Agrusa - Founder and CEO, ICONICS
Russ has over 25 years of experience in managing software projects and the development of HMI/SCADA and control products for the process control and data acquisition industry. In 2003, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the OPC Foundation and was also appointed as Marketing Chairman and Director, leading the Foundation's efforts in marketing OPC technology and generating new members. ICONICS has been a leading supporter of OPC since its inception and Russ has contributed significantly to the development of numerous OPC specifications.
Kevin Hooks - Senior Project Manager IT Systems, JCI Automotive
Kevin is responsible for all new plant launches and IT program initiatives in manufacturing for JCI Automotive. He has over 13 years of IT and operational experience in industrial manufacturing. Before JCI, Kevin was an IT Manager with Kellogg with worldwide responsibility for ERP and Production Management implementation. Prior to Kellogg, he worked for 3COM Corporation, overseeing implementation of their company-wide Supply Chain Management System. He started his career with EDS and General Motors as an industrial engineer.
